The men and women of the Ridley Park Police Department offer their deepest condolences to the family of Lieutenant William Henderson, the Ridley Township Police Department and the Ridley community.

Working along side Bill has been a privilege and a honor. Bill was more than just a cop, he was a friend.

Bill was always the constant professional and will be greatly missed.

The Ridley Park Police have taken several reports of thefts from vehicles today. If anyone had their vehicles entered at any time, even if nothing was taken, please contact the police and report it. Also, if anyone found any items in the area such as keys or wallets please report it to the police.

My husband’s vehicle was entered and “tossed” (already reported to police). Is there a theme on locked vs. unlocked? Hubs isn’t positive that he remembered to lock it. My car wasn’t entered, but was definitely locked.

Tried to get into two of our cars that night. Left message yesterday with RP police switchboard.

You still have to call the police. They don’t take reports over Facebook.
